      <abstract xml:lang="ru">
        <p> Представлены результаты исследования магнитного поля химически пекулярной звезды $\theta$ Aur. В работе использованы спектрополяриметрические наблюдения в круговой поляризации, выполненные на 2.6-м рефлекторе ЗТШ Крымской астрофизической обсерватории в 2009-2016 гг., а также архивные наблюдения, полученные с помощью спектрополяриметра ESPaDOnS на Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) в 2006-2008 гг. Продольный компонент магнитного поля измерялся по отдельным линиям водорода, железа, хрома и кремния.

      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p> We present an analysis of the magnetic field of the chemically peculiar star $\theta$ Aur. The study is based on circular spectropolarimetric observations obtained with the 2.6-m Shajn Telescope of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory during 2009-2016 and archival ESPaDOnS observations acquired at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) during 2006-2008. The longitudinal magnetic field component was measured using the Single Line method applied to the hydrogen, iron, chromium, and silicon spectral lines.
 Rotational phase curves of the magnetic field were constructed for all studied elements. The results are in good agreement with previously published measurements. The most regular phase dependence is obtained from hydrogen lines, indicating that they provide the most reliable tracer of the global magnetic field geometry. Using these measurements, the large-scale magnetic field was modelled within the framework of the oblique rotator model. The best-fit dipolar configuration corresponds to polar magnetic field strength $B_{\rm p}=1006$ G, inclination angle $i=122^\circ$ and magnetic obliquity $\beta=111^\circ$. These parameters are consistent with the results obtained from Zeeman-Doppler imaging studies.
 The magnetic measurements were compared with TESS photometry. The photometric and magnetic phase curves exhibit different behaviour, indicating that the observed photometric variability and the element-dependent magnetic signatures are primarily caused by the non-uniform distribution of chemical elements over the stellar surface. </p>
